Privacy policy

This policy explains how QuantInsta ("we") handles personal data when you use our website and trading platform. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.

Data we collect

Payment records: plan, amount, status and Razorpay order and payment IDs	To activate your plan, keep accounts and meet tax obligations. Card, UPI and bank details are collected by Razorpay, not by us
WhatsApp number verification and notification preferences	To verify your phone with a one-time code and send the plan and account alerts you opt into
Technical data: IP address, browser, device and error logs	To keep the Service secure and diagnose problems

The public website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use personal data only to provide and secure the Service, process payments, send the notifications you ask for, provide support, meet legal obligations, and improve the Service using aggregated information. We do not sell personal data.

Who we share it with

• Your broker, to carry out the orders and data requests you authorise.
• Razorpay, to process payments.
• Messaging providers (such as WhatsApp Business), to deliver notifications you opted into.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that run the Service on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep account data while your account is open. After you close it, we delete or anonymise personal data within 90 days, except records we must keep for longer by law (such as payment and tax records).

Security

Passwords are hashed, broker tokens are encrypted, and all traffic uses HTTPS. No system is completely secure; tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Your rights

You can access and correct your data in the app, withdraw consent for optional processing (such as WhatsApp alerts), disconnect your broker, and ask us to delete your account. To exercise these rights, email mail@quantinsta.com. We respond within 30 days.
